It's Top Ten Tuesday with The Broke & The Bookish. The theme this week is favorite books you have read in the last three years. Here they are, in no particular order.
Hugh & Bess by Susan Higgenbotham
Greenglass House by Kate Milford
Daughters of the Stone by Dhalma Llanos-Figueroa
That Summer by Lauren Wittig I enjoy her Pink Carnation historical spy series. This is a new stand alone novel.
Crossing Washington Square by Joanne Rendell
Instruments of Darkness by Imogene Roberson First in a new historical mystery series.
The Book of Tomorrow by Ceceilia Ahern
What Remains: a Memoir by Carole Radziwill I'm a little late finding this one, it was first published in 2005.
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty
Book of Ages: the Life and Opinions of Jane Franklin by Jill Lepore Non-fiction about the younger sister of one of our Founding Fathers, Ben Franklin.
Have you read anything really great in the last few years that you can recommend?
I haven't read any of the books on your list... A few of them sound intriguing, so am sure I'll be adding some new titles to my ever growing reading wishlist!! Here's a link to my TTT post for this week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2015/03/top-ten-books-you-would-classify-as-all.html

ReplyDeleteNaming favorites in last 3 years would be difficult! Guess it could be done and you have. I have Big Little Lies on my shelf to read, really growing to like Liane Moriaty's books.
ReplyDeleteInteresting list. I haven't heard of any of these books yet, but glad to hear you enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these! Thanks for the recommendations :)
ReplyDeleteHere are my Top Ten!
I really want to read Big Little Lies!
ReplyDeleteI loved Big Little Lies too. I had listened on audio and it was so good but then anything she writes is good. Hugh and Bess was good too although it's been years since I read that one.
