A Bookish Valentine-LoveAThon

Our second fun activity for today is to create a valentine to or from a book character. I was thinking and thinking for something that would be clever, and this one just popped into my head.  What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty is about a couple on the brink of divorce in Melbourne, Australia. Perhaps one wants to work on the marriage while the other doesn't, and then they swap roles. Maybe they get back together. I'm not going to give it away, and rectifying the marriage really is not the point of the book, it's how they got to this cruel separation in the first place.
My Valentine represents either of the spouses giving or receiving the card from the other. I thought the boomerang idea was fun, the way symbolic images were used in old valentines, and as I was making it I realized it's an appropriate symbol, since the book takes place in Australia. I highly recommend reading What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty before the movie comes out.
Go visit the other participants in the Book Blogger LoveAThon weekend, hosted by Alexa Loves Books.

i have shut off the CAPCHA, so if you are asked to type a word or number, please let me know. It is very annoying and slows down comments.
