Snagged at the Library Challenge

I love my local library! The building is "green" through a federal matching funds grant. It is about 4 years old and has a garden on the roof and a beautiful patio outside where people can sit and read. The old building was actually crumbling around us, so it's very exciting. Many residents were griping about the state of our schools, roads, and municipal facilities, and saying that a new library wasn't needed. First of all, no town funds went into this library, and secondly, I have never been there when it isn't full of people and all the handicapped spaces are full. People are constantly using the large function room and the study rooms are full as soon as school lets out each day. There are activities every day of the week. For many people, the library has replaced church as the center of their community. I feel very passionately about libraries in a community, so I was excited to come across  the Snagged at the Library Challenge hosted by The Geeky Blogger. She has even set up a group on goodreads where we can keep track of the books and have discussions. Since I get about 99% of my books at the library, this is one that I can definitely achieve. I am shooting for the Stalking the Library Challenge, which is 50 books. Since my overall goal for the year is 110 books it will fly by.

i have shut off the CAPCHA, so if you are asked to type a word or number, please let me know. It is very annoying and slows down comments.
