Giveaway: Pearls of the Stone Man
I am very excited to have THREE copies of Edward Mooney Jr.'s The Pearls of the Stone Manto give away to my readers! Originally published in 2002, Sourcebooks has recently re-issued this endearing story of Joseph and Anne Marino, married for 53 years. The Pearls of the Stone Man is the first in an anticipated trilogy, and The Journey of the Stone Man is the second book. I greatly enjoyed Joseph and Anne's story, as they continue laughing and loving, knowing that the end of their wonderful lifetime together is soon at hand. Anne expresses her feelings about this time in a beautiful letter to her husband, which is shared in the video below.

I came over from Cym's Book Review Wednesday Party! This would be a great book for me - I'm always interested in reading about deep, long-term loves, possibly because my own have been so fleeting. It makes me feel good to read about people who've been able to make it work! Consider me entered!
