Happy Blue Monday! I missed a couple of weeks, but I am back and rarin' to go. A friend of mine became an Auntie this weekend. She is wicked excited of course, as was I when I first became an Auntie. I was going through my cards to see if I had anything appropriate to send, and found some vintage cards with blue on them to share with my Blue Monday friends.
Of course the first one I have is welcoming a new baby!
Cornflowers are one of my favorite flowers; you don't see them around too often.Isn't this silhouette so pretty?
I received these cards from Carolyn @ Harbor Hon last year. She is such a sweetie! For more Beautiful Blues, visit Smiling Sally, our Blue Monday hostess.
Hi, Elizabeth... what pretty cards! Love them, and I know how exciting it is to have a new niecelet or nephewlet. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am thinking that maybe the cornflower is also the fave flower of Marie Antoinette. So you're in good company, E. I think they are neat, too.
Happy Blue Monday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
The cards are lovely and I like them very much. I should own a card shop as I send a lot of cards. The top one is so sweet.

Babies create such excitement! Those cards are familiar to me; I'm sure that at one time, I've sent one or two of them. I love the last one; it looks like Wedgwood china. Happy Blue Monday to you, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. I love vintage cards probably because I'm a vintage person, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invitation to join the New England bloggers, but I was just visiting there last week. It was the first time I had been to New England. I loved it. It is so so so different from Arizona which is where I live.
Happy Blue Monday.
Charlotte
