Four Seasons Collection

I haven't been doing much creating lately, but I am excited about this set of bracelets I just made. Springtime is the season of renewal, and my EtsyBlogger Team colleague, Rainy Day Art, has asked us to write about renewal and the inspiration for trying something new. I won a beautiful bracelet in the fall that was made with an amazing variety of beads all within a color family; I went through the entire bracelet and only found 1 duplicate! This inspired me into thinking what I could make with all of my own odds 'n' ends beads on the same idea.
Sorting the beads into color groups has been great little job to do while watching movies for the last couple of horrible rainy weeks we've been having in New England, and I've come up with a collection of coiled wire bracelets that I'm calling the Four Seasons Collection. I'm so in love with a couple of them that I had to make them for myself, too!
Besides being cute and using up some orphan beads, they're really comfortable and I can wear them while using the computer and it doesn't slam, slap, or get in the way, which is a real plus for a person who works on the keyboard all day!
After making the collection I made a couple of other memory wire bracelets, and with one I made matching earrings that are really fun and flirty!
I love this one with the natural stone nuggets and carved silver beads, and wear it all the time. All of these are in my etsy shop, Little Somethings, and as always I offer free shipping for blog readers who mention this post.
Has the fresh spring weather inspired you to create anything new? Or maybe just do a little cleaning? I scrubbed the deck furniture today!

  3. What a great idea! Maybe I should do that as well - I've kind of stopped beading but I still have lots of beads left.. Love them!

i have shut off the CAPCHA, so if you are asked to type a word or number, please let me know. It is very annoying and slows down comments.
