Someday I hope to steal my mom's actual vintage cuckoo clock (And share it with you guys!) but until then I'll have to be content with this one.
This one appeals to me because I like her fluffy party dress she wears while sweeping.
These two from the 1950s are major groans! I don't think kids today would get them at all.
Any Valentine's Day plans? Anything vintage to share? Stop by ColoradoLady and visit our Vintage Thingies Thursday hostess Suzanne to see her cute decorations!

You're so right Elizabeth! Cornball is the perfect description. So silly.
ReplyDeletethe lady with the broom would so go over now.... not.
ReplyDeleteSo cute.
I love all the puns too!
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for vintage valentines, I love the "sweep me off my feet" one- her dress is fab- don't we all look like that when we're cleaning the house?! LOL, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI do love the one with the pretty party dress. Some Valentine's were really cute, some funny, and some were corny

Thank you for these great vintage Valentin cards. I used to have a bunch of them, but over the times, they disappeared.
ReplyDeleteThese made me smile, cornball or no. The girl and the missile is my fave. Wonder if the recipient wanted to "duck and cover"? :)
ReplyDeleteI do wish I had kept my grammar school valentines. If I did I would probably be a candidate for the Hoarder's TV show!
ReplyDeleteThese are soooo STINKIN CUTE...thanks for sharing them with all of us!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Corny is cute ya know. at least for us "old" peoples :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy VTT Elizabeth!
Yep, they are corny for sure, but Valentine's Day is for fun and silliness, so why not be goofy!?!?!
ReplyDeleteCornball is perfect for Valentine's Day!!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the Cutest collections I have seen this week. Much love to you this week, Cherie
ReplyDeleteThese are of MY childhood vintage! I still like them A LOT BETTER than the modern day ones which I think are equally corny and ugly besides!!! Nothing about a transformer says "Valentine" to me!!! Hehehehehehehe
ReplyDeleteCorny Valentine's are the best. These are good ones. Love the first one...hahha.
ReplyDeleteI love them because they are so sweet and so silly..and each of them made me smile.Ooo,back in the day..in
ReplyDeleteschool, sitting at our desks waiting for those Valentines to be passed out.it was such an exciting time. The girls always secretly hoped the boy they liked would send them a really good one. Remember counting to see how many we had before we opened them??? That was always the real party..not the refreshments served afterward at the "party". Elizabeth, you always have the coolest things..Happy VTT
For me, Valentine's Day is a non-holiday. But, those old cards really are cute.
ReplyDeleteJustine :o )
Love the cornball sayings :) So much better than *text me*, lol!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
