Nico Designs

I am so glad to have found the Etsy Bloggers Street Team. It is such a supportive group of crafters. If you have a blog and an etsy shop, you should really think about joining. This month's Featured Blogger is Nico Designs. Nico sells great totes, handbags, and diaper bags at a very reasonable price. I love the fabrics she chooses for her creations; in addition to toiles, damasks, and other traditional fabrics, she has some really bright and fun materials she uses.

I love this Fiesta Tote-only $20.00. I have a similar tote made for myself and paid almost $100.00. Really. I am that stupid sometimes!

I am a large bag gal, but if I carried a clutch it would definitely be this fun bright pink one. Check out the adorable small ruffle! And only $9.99, can you believe it?
On her blog Nico has easy and well-laid-out tutorials for many simple things that even I could make. I love how she shows ways to upcycle things, like making socks into leg warmers, and a cute hat from her husband's sweater that became too large when he shrunk.

Nico's kids are adorable models for her creations; they appear to be expertly trained models. How come the rest of us can't have kids who can sit for a picture?
