Welcome to my second installment of a Very Merry Vintage Thingies Thursday, hosted by http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/2009/12/vintage-thingies-thursday-vintage_09.html. Last year I showed off many vintage pins that belong to my mother and myself, and this year I asked my Aunt Kakee, who gave me the turkey platter, if I could show hers. Some of these pictures have a reflection on them. I should have checked them on the computer before she went home at Thanksgiving.
This is a set of 3 hair pins she wears every year. Ever since I was a child Kakee has worn her hair in a beehive and always has nifty hair pins she puts down the back of the twist.
Kakee has three of these corsages to put on coats.
They are all weather resistant.
I LOVE this holly pin.

Aunt Kakee, a beehive and Xmas baubles. I remember those days. (Not Aunt Kakee...but, you know.)

I remember a similar vintage tree pin that use to be in my Mom's jewelery box. Very nice!

I also remember Christmas pins. Had one once that you pulled a little bell and Santa's nose lit up.
Your Aunt is one stylin' gal. Reminds me of the days when women always wore fancy hats and gloves when they went out. I really enjoyed seeing all of your aunts Christmas jewelry and corsages.

I have a nativity pin I have worn for many Christmases & last year I bought a Christmas charm bracelet. I also have a couple of Christmas watches..........and a bell necklace & matching earrings!I dont waer them all at the same time though!
