Christmas Cards Finished!

I met my goal for this week, I finished making my Christmas cards. I'll address them tomorrow while I watch the marathons of sappy Christmas movies on Lifetime and Hallmark all day. They have the best shmaltzy movies this time of year, don't they? Just for fun, I linked to their schedules so you could see that it's all Christmas all day today on those channels.These Santas I cut from used cards with my Cutter Bee Scissors. It takes a while, but I do it while I watch TV and work on them all year long. Then I just glued striped paper on the diagonal onto cream card stock.Originally, I had planned to make all my cards with my Silhouette cutting machine this year. But it became a hassle because of paper getting stuck in it and then I'd lose what would have been 2 or 4 cards.So these are the only survivors. Next year I will be an expert with the Cricut ExpressionI won from My Craft Corner and can do this style with that machine.I know I showed you this card for Blue Monday, but I have a follow-up about it. Sheila, The Quintessential Magpie suggested making 1 card and photocopying it, so I didn't kill myself cutting and glueing all the little mosaic tiles. If I don't make the cut-out cards next year, I'm definitely taking her advice on that!
