Welcome to Pink Saturday! I'd like to introduce you to Marie from Lemondrop Vintage. I just love her retro/vintage style, and the cool digital artwork she creates for her posts.
School started for me (if I were working) on Wednesday. I was actually a little bit of a cry-baby on Tuesday night because I wasn't returning to school. I was talking to my niece who is entering middle school about her cute new shoes and of course, the school supplies, my favorite thing! So this week, instead of showing something of my own, I have a bunch of PINK school supplies to share with you!

Animal prints are always in style. This one claims to be soft and furry!
Yawkey Way StoreI'm sure there are one or two of these floating around our suburban Boston schools right now.
La Di Da Embroidery BoutiqueThis one would be for ME!
For keeping notes on big projects, a notecard binder from Craft Bindery is a great idea.
That Vera Bradley! She even makes binders like this one available at Polyvore.
Popular: Opens Your MindBut Miss Julia needs a scientific calculator for her fancy advanced math class. I don't remember getting all these supplies every year, and when I needed the 1985 version of this calculator I was in 11th grade Calculus. It cost $135.00 at that time!

Very cute. I do not think my son would go for it though(:
ReplyDeleteI guess that's one thing that's come down in price. (Thank goodness there's ONE.)
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff for school!

ReplyDeleteOh Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday sweetie. I so love the toille backpack with the polka dot ribbons. It even loks quilted. It is my favorite. How stylish is that? The notebooks and binders and even pink calculators. Can you imagine? We would have so loved items like this when we were kids. Thanks for sharing sweetie. Please stop by and let me share my PS post with you. Country hugs, Sherry
Aw, the calculator is cute, my teachers would have beaten me to a bloody pulp if I ever used one in class.
ReplyDeleteAwesome post, it gave me a warm feeling.
I checked out your blog and my what a site. Lots of goodies.
ReplyDeleteI hope your health improves. I have my fair share of time in infusion rooms too. Iron for me.

Hey, found you from Vodka Logic (fellow SITS-ta) I so admire people who can make things! Your blog is great!
ReplyDeleteHello Elizabeth, I am loving your pink school supplies, That one notebook brought the sixties flower power to mind. My youngest sister plastered flowers like those all over her car. LOL. She was so pretty and young. I love that memory of those days. Now, she is 63 and my backyard neighbor. I am so lucky.
ReplyDeleteI'm sad you aren't teaching too Elizabeth. I know you loved teaching. Sometimes we do not know what is in store for our future, but we have to have faith that all is for the best, even if we do know it.
Thank you for your visit to my post today. That hall tree is from England and a treasure to me. I'm glad you like it too.
Hugs, Jeanne

Love the toile. I felt like redecorating my whole apartment to include it.
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm not in school anymore but that LaDida backpack I would love to have :-) And a pink scientific calculator? Wouldn't that be fun to use - especially during math class. Too bad I only had the black one. :-)
