Pink Topiaries

Last week I was away in Ogunquit, Maine for my family's annual group vacation. One of the things I love about Ogunquit is the variety of old homes from colonial days through the Victorian era. Most of these former homes are now shops or offices, and some are bed and breakfasts. Wherever you look in Ogunquit, the curb appeal is amazing. The care put into the gardens and planters is evident everywhere. This particular house is a shop on the first floor and 2 large rental units in the back and upstairs. They have some of the most extensive decorative florals each year.
Aren't the topiaries absolutely gorgeous?!

  16. Hi Elizabeth! I have had a love affair with Maine for the last 10 years. I've spent a number of camping trips near Acadia and I adore Bass Harbor. Your images for Pink Saturday are wonderful! The topiary is one of the more imaginative and beautiful ones I've seen. Your post made me long to be in Maine again! Hope you had a wonderful family reunion. Happy Pink Saturday!

  19. Had the Grands for a few days so I am a day late and a dollar short for Pink Saturday! We just had so much fun and time got away from me☺

But, I didn't want to miss all the pinkness that brings sunshine to my weekend. And, another cool, sun-less day. My gardens look horrible this year. Nothing is growing...sigh.

So, your sweet blog post is cheering me up! Thanks so much for giving me something pretty to look at other than the dark clouds outside my kitchen window.
