Isn't this birthday card so lovely and girly? I won it in a set of vintage cards from Carolyn @ Harbor Hon a long time ago. I was looking through the box as I do from time to time and it reminded me that my birthday is this Wednesday. . I am not a girly girl like this card, but sometimes we all admire something that is not "us", don't we? As a little girl playing dress up, I would wear big skirted gowns and swish about like this lady with her parasol and poodle. Didn't we all?

I just love the pink vintage card.

What a nice vintage card. I love things like that, but as a child I avoided getting dressed up in anything fancy. If you had invited me to your birthday party I would have begged my mother to let me stay home just because I wouldn't have wanted to dress up in an itchy crinoline slip and fancy dress. (I still don't like to get dressed up.) Happy Pink Saturday!
