Welcome to a beautiful Blue Monday, hosted by Smiling Sally! She has a gorgeous, sparkling blue Jewel with a wonderful story to share this week. I can't wait to see what the other participants have!
This is a garden stake my mom gave me as a gift a few years ago. It is black wrought iron with gray grout and blue glass.I decided to play around with it in Photoshop, like I did with that tree a few weeks ago for Pink Saturday. Here are some of my results.
This first is just the embossing filter. One click and there it is. The depth of the embossing can be changed, too.
Here the filter is called plastic wrap. I thought it was pretty neat.
These below were more difficult and time consuming because I was pouring paint colors and used several different filters on each, but I can't remember the filters used!

Have you played around much with your photo-editing software? Do you crop, brighten, enhance your photos before posting them to your blog?

Can you travel to MI and give me a hands on tutorial? :)
Happy Blue Monday!
I am so un-handy with photo anything and consider it a triumph when I can get a photo on my post. Your garden post is neat, I love garden stuff!

happy blue Monday.
Oh yes, I do tweak my photos levels before posting!
I've been meaning to try some fun filters to create some instant "art", you have inspired me. That is a cool garden accessory. I need some pretties for my garden!
Fun on the computer, but I have to say that I liked it best in original form. Happy Blue Monday.
I'm such a photoshop numbskull! It's amazing to see what you can do! I have so much to learn:)
Really neat effects you can get in photoshop huh? My husband showed my this one day and I thought it was really cool. You can be your own artist doing this!

You're pretty good with Photoshop, huh? I always fix up my pics before I post them, even if it's just enhancing the colors a little to brighten it up. And I almost ALWAYS have to crop them too, I'm not a great photographer!!!
I tagged you for a fun meme on my blog, check it out if you wanna play! Life, as it is
Fun!
Joyce

I don't have Photoshop but I have other programs that I love to play around with photos. It's amazing what you can do with them.
