Beachy Pinks

For Blue Monday I shared some seashells that my nephews painted for me many years ago. I thought it only appropriate to show some shells I have that haven't been altered by budding young artists, so for this Pink Saturday I have some shells and coral in great shades of pink. I love how this picture came out, and I"m thinking of framing it for my living room.Do you enjoy the color pink, or maybe have many things that are pink? Join Beverly at How Sweet the Sound next week and show off your goods!

Nature's beauty! i used to love collecting shells when my parents lived at the beach, but I didn't save any of them. Now I wish I had.

First, Happy Birthday!!! I did NOT forget you on that day. Our week included a surprise business trip to Austin for my husband, middle of the night plane rides, and sleepless nights for me. Blogging visits suffered greatly this week.

I love your shells and had forgotten about the pink on them. I must keep mine, and they were in the donate pile.

Happy Pink Saturday!

I love Pink Shells - when I was a little girl each summer we stayed a Pink shelled cottage on the lake. I remember touching the walls outside the cottage trying to catch the sparkles. Happy Pink Saturday.

Hi Elizabeth
Wow that was smart thinking to post your beautiful pink shells.
I really like using shells.
I use to keep jars of them eveywhere and a few really pretty larger ones until we had to downsize .Than it was learning to decorate with a lot less ,I think I may need to put some out again after seeing yours I miss having them around.
Happy Pink Saturday !

Hi Elizabeth, isn't nature amazing? It's easy to take for granted all of the things around us until you start looking at them with a different eye such as "Pink Saturday". Hope your's is a good one! ~ Robyn

That is great composition, Elizabeth. Framing it would be lovely... with the right candle scent (something like "Sea Mist" ;-). You can sit back and imagine yourself relaxing on the front porch of a seaside cottage in Kennebunkport! ~Kari
