Little Blue Houses...

Welcome to BLUE MONDAY hosted by Smiling Sally! I know the song is Pink Houses, but I took a little artistic license with it.
These are some pretty blue houses in my neighborhood.Blue is a popular color for homes in my area; it's very New Englandy with the grays, whites and yellows.I love the window next to and above the front door. I'd love to see what the rooms in this house look like architecturally. Lots of nooks and crannies, I'm sure.
My house is yellow. What color is yours?

I love the pretty trim work on the second house, but the last is my favorite, for sure.

My house is yellow too! I wanna see a pic of yours!

What sweet houses. I am always blown away by how different homes look in the East verses out here in the desert. Nice post.

Have A Marvelous Monday

I would paint that gingerbread white (on the first house). I prefer the second home too. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

Hi Elizabeth
Happy Blue house Monday
I love them all.
My house is plain white, but I am going to paint the foundation a nice bright yellow. I also have splashes of red all through the gardens, and my doors are red.
What do you think?

Hi Elizabeth, I love the blue houses and accents. I always admire blue houses but I don't think I would have one. My house is kind of a taupe tan with green shutters. I actually wish I had picked a darker color.

I laughed when I read your Easter egg story. One year we couldn't find one egg and Lord knows when it was, but I was cleaning my mirror behind the couch when pieces of shell start falling down in back of the couch. It was all dried and brown. Yuck.

Have a happy day...Jeanne

Hi Elizabeth, I like the first little house the best. We don't have any blue houses on our street. I live in a suburb of the twin cities. My house is a brick, cedar, tan home with chocolate brown trim. ~ Robyn

Pretty shades of blue. Our house is white with black shutters. We need to paint the front door and I'm or red?
I don't know...

I love blue houses! When I was growing up, I always said that I wanted to live in a blue house. My ex and I painted our first home blue. It was the gray-blue color of an autumn sky, which is exactly what I wanted. The windows were painted in a cream color. Oh, how I loved the effect!

My fave is the house in the middle, but I also like the clean lines of the last house.

I love interesting houses. I have always wanted to live in one. We live in a white modular house in a mobile home park. Kind of boring.
