Crafty Pinks

For someone who claims not to be a huge pink fanatic, I sure have a lot of pink in my life. I guess it's because pink is such a staple color for different holidays, as well as being one of the key springtime colors and for many people it also symbolizes femininity. Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound hosts Pink Saturday each week, and always has some lovely item, often a porcelain miniature, to share with us. After checking out my pinks stop by her blog and visit some of the over 150 participants! Be sure to leave the comment love while you're there! Wow! That's a lot of pink!I've been showing a lot of my crafts lately and as I was cleaning up after the last project I realized that I have tons of pink supplies and tools. Like this storage box for my cutting tools, and this hospital tub for Mod Podge. I have many of these tubs because I get several every time I'm hospitalized. If you don't take it home, they throw it out! Not recycle the plastic, toss!My knitting needles haven't been used in years. These are just the stickers that are predominantly pink. This evil look contraption is a Crop-a Dial. It is an awesome tool that punches holes in 2 different sizes and sets eyelets and snaps. It doesn't make any noise, and no pounding is required. I love it! It also comes in a large table-size version that can set things up to 8" into a page. Finally, I'm going to leave you with some things that everyone loves, whether you are a crafter or not. Yummy ribbons...and scrumptious buttons!
From these pictures, you can see why I haven't been buying new supplies, just using up what I've got. I hope all of this pink craftiness has inspired some of you to dig into your stash, too. In the future I'll show you all of the different patterned papers I have that are pink!
Be sure to check out the pinks on display by Beverly and the other participants at How Sweet the Sound.

You had to WORK to get everything separated to take these pictures. Now, you have to put it all away again. Hey, why not just make something while it's all out? Thanks for sharing. Happy Pink Saturday.

Morning, Elizabeth. Honey, you're just a Pinking today, aren't you? It's amazing how much Pink we have when we really look, isn't it? I love that hole puncher thingy you have. I love to scrapbook, but for the last year with renovations to our house, the hurricane, and now mother living with us - I can't do it!! I'm hating this.
Be a sweetie,

Shelia :)

I've always wanted one of those crop-a-dial thingies. You know, the hospital is kinda wasteful. They throw an awful lot of things away. When they remove a dressing or sutures they just throw that scissors and cotton pliers away, too. Be sure to take those when you leave, too. They are great for crafting! ~ Robyn

I think it's amazing how much pink there is for someone who doesn't really think they care for the color. I could say the same for me too, Char
I post under the name someplace in thyme and not english cottage rose, thanks

I love ribbons. Those "pinks" remind me of cotton candy and the buttons jellybeans...can you tell I'm hungry for something sweet?

Loved your Pink Shares today! My mom used to work for a hospital--she was always bringing home those plastic pans to use for something! She was a Recycling Queen long before it was the "thing" to do! She taught me lots of lessons on being thrifty and "reusing"!

Hope you had a great Pink Sat! Dana

That,s a lot of ribbons, stickers, and buttons. All in different shades of Pink! They look yummy :-)

and that "crop a dial" thingy would have looked scary if it weren't for it's bright pink color :-)
