Every other Tuesday, Kim from Sophisticated Dorkiness posts an idea to help people imporive their blogs. She is no expert, she's doing this herself and passing on what she discovers, giving us a Mr. Linky to share our idea, too. For this installment we are focusing on writing different kinds of content. Kim found us some great articles to help bloggers think about content. All 13 Types of Blog Posts, Which Ones are You Missing?
Kim suggested a fun challenge for the next 2 weeks, Blog Post Bingo! Over the next two weeks, try to write as many of these different kinds of posts as you can. Posts can that fit 2 categories can be counted twice. I'm going to try it, and keep track of my different posts right here, updating as I go. Anyone is welcome to join at any time, so think about it!

Oooohhh, this sounds like fuuuuunnn!!!!
Elizabeth, just for your information I have a Blog Tutorial over on my blog to help people who aren't quite proficient yet, honey. If that would help go to my blog and on the right hand side near the top is a clickable logo on the tutorial. Anything to help.
I also suggest simply just talking about your life and things that happen on a daily basis. The funniest things happen to me just living life, chick! I sometimes do just random thoughts as I go through my daily chores, etc. Just a thought, sweetpea.
Smooches,
Connie
Thanks for the post. This is really helpful.

Hi Elizabeth.
I am also going to participate in the Bingo - it will be fun to see what people can come up with. I may not use all ten, however.
And thank you so much for the links to your boxes. The nativity box is absolutely gorgeous, and the other ones are fun. It could be great for ´bait´ when I write about older books (so the box will be a hint in itself).
Sounds like a fab idea. CAn't wait to see what you come up with!
Justine :o )
I do not like link posts. I never want to go where others suggest. I have been "obedient," and I've always regretted going to those places. So I hope you don't do that one.
Hi there Elizabeth! Thanks for coming to visit! :)
I can't wait to see what you post.

Well I now have nine bookmarked essays to read so I can be a better blogger. What a great post. I am a newbie and love to get hints to make my blog better. Thanks a lot.

What a cool idea!
This is very helpful. I love that you're doing this series.
Thanks for visiting my blog - I'm so glad Sarah's post on *The Book Barn* had happy memories for you.
I'm doing Kim's BIP too, but I haven't written the Bingo post yet. I'm impressed that you've already checked 4 post types off the list!
I definitely need this! I think Blog Post Bingo will be my next project.
Thanks for dropping by my blog! A Welcomista is a group of SITS gals who welcome all the new members to SITS.. the SITS Welcome Wagon ;).
