This week I have some vintage get well cards to share with you. They all have pink in them, of course! I thought it was a good time for get well messages, since so many people are getting colds and the flu.
This carnation is very simple, but has a real ribbon around it. The painting looks so real, doesn't it?
I really like this card with the arbor. The tree, branches, and house that look tan are actually golden. The paper is a double-fold and its texture is similar to parchment.
Isn't this puppy cute? I thought Patty from Pip Stitch would really like it since she has lots of dog-themed items.
I saved this for last for a reason: it CRACKS ME UP! Best wishes to a shut-in? What is up with that?!!

You're right that last one did crack me up, too. Happy Pink Saturday! ~ Robyn
Hi Elizabeth! I'm Elizabeth from Grand Occasions. I love vintage cards they just make you smile. They are from a gentler time and I wish the world was a little more like that today. I also "love" the garland. I'm a southern girl, but lived in New England (MA) for 4 COLD years. I made some lifetime friends and started a group we call "The Dixie Doodles". I'm Dixie of course and they are the Doodles. Like Dixieland and Yankee Doodle all in one. Anyway, I'm brand new to blogging and would love for you to stop by and visit sometime. I'll be posting pictures of "The Dixie Doodles" and our adventures in the future. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Elisabeth.
What a great looking blog you have. And I still love the name. Fantastic. And then you log into the blog and see those pretty pink vintage cards and loads of other stuff and wonders about the evil overlord behind it all ;o)
Have a great pink Saturday and a great pink weekend as well :-)

Oh what fun these vintage cards are Elizabeth. I remember a church bulletin once that had a announcement for having people join in to take food to Shut-ins...

Those are beautifully created cards Elizabeth. And that last one, that one's a hoot! How about the exclamation point at the end!
