4 Photo Folder Tag

I've been tagged for a photo meme by Suzanne from Colorado Lady. It's super-easy.
1. Go to the the 4th folder where you keep your pictures on your computer.
2. Post the 4th picture in the folder.
3. Explain the photo.
4. Tag 4 fellow bloggers to join in the fun!

So, what is this gross, but kind of cool, picture? The fourth folder of My Photos is Cancer and this is the fourth photo. It is a picture of the underside of my right arm. We have been documenting the growth of the sclerosis on my arms and legs for several months. >Graft vs. Host Disease is one of the side effect complications from my bone marrow transplant that I had 2 1/2 years ago. The new bone marrow kills the cancer, knowing that it's a foreign body, but then it sometimes attacks the patient's body, because that is foreign to the marrow also! Since our largest organ is our skin, that's where it shows up first. It looks like a big scar, it's very hard and doesn't squeeze, and it really is those colors of yellow, purple, and pink! I have a smaller one on my left arm and I used to have them on my calves but they went away. This hardening is now on the outside of my lungs, which restricts their expansion and my ability to get enough oxygen, which is why I have a tank.
Now that you've read that interesting information, here are the four bloggers to whom I am passing on this tag. Be sure to visit their blogs to meet these lovely ladies.

I'm posting on this tag too today!

Your poor arm looks as if you suffered a great deal, and even though it may not have hurt, you have suffered. Thanks for sharing.

You've been tagged!

Dang, does it hurt, or is it just an annoyance? Is it something that can be removed, or no? Will it start showing up other places too?

Justine :o )

Hi Elizabeth, I don't know if I can top this. I'll try to do my post real soon.
I hope the other sclerosis disappears like the ones from your calves.
Hugs, Bridget

Elizabeth, I can not tell you how very much I admire your courage. I had no idea that you had suffered so much. You are a wonderful example to others who suffer from the dreadful disease.

It's exciting to find you again after all these many, many years...and also sobering to know that life has happened to us both...and that you had to go through all of this...so, I had some questions - Is the sclerosis in your pleura? Will that go away too? Are you cancer free? Was there/is there a silver lining?

Be happy
Be safe
Be healthy!
Live with ease...
