Pink Bling!

Welcome to Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. There are over 100 blogs sharing all sorts of PINK goodness, sparkle, and cheer this week, and I bet a lot of it is Christmas related! Be sure to visit Beverly and the other participants to see all of their nifty things.
I have two Christmas items to share. This angel is on a rosy pink burlap background. She used to have a red velvet ribbon that hung down with three bells on it. My sister had one with an elf and we hung them on our bedroom doors every Christmas. The ribbon was a real cheapo and hanging it with tape didn't help, so all the velvet came off. I still hang her on my bedroom door, just sans bells, which is less annoying, anyway! Until I really looked, I didn't realize I had so many glass pink ornaments! The day after I took this picture I found even more! These are all vintage ornaments, given to me by my aunt when she downsized about 5 years ago, and a couple are from my childhood. I love a tree with shiny ornaments!
Enjoy your last weekend before the big holiday; we are having a series of storms here in MA. It looks pretty, but it's really putting a damper on last minute errands. I'm staying in and making cookies! Don't forget to visit Beverly and the other Pink Saturday participants.

Love the ornaments and angel. Please send us some snow! We've been waiting so long. Rain and sleet are not my idea of a white Christmas. Take care out there. xxoo

I love the ornaments. They look just like the ones that were on our tree when I was growing up. Unfortunately ours did not survive the years.
I love that you still hang the angel on your bedroom door. I'm all about traditions!
Merry Christmas! Bridget

Love the classic pink ornaments!
That storm heading your way dumped
at least 10 inches of snow in a
12 hour time period. Everyone's
tired from digging out here!!!

Happy Holidays to you and your family my Pink Saturday friend.

Love your pink ornaments also.

As for the baking mine all ended Tuesday for we had a fire in the oven because my sister in law forgot to take the plastic cover off the bottom of the cookie sheet before she placed it into the oven. Then the vary next day my microwave just stopped working. Oh well...tis the season to be jolly.

Elizabeth, I love the idea of the garland in one of those colors. Thanks! Your angel on the burlap is very cute and I love the tradition of it hanging on your door. Now, you are teasing me with those Pink vintage ornaments. They are beautiful. Have fun baking cookies. My post yesterday was all about Christmas cookies with my sisters friend and nephew. Our weather is not great either but not snow. I am looking for more of those plates. I love them too.

Christmas hugs...Jeanne

Those vintage glass balls are wonderful---I have been collecting them for several years. The new ones just don't hold a candle to the ones with age and character! Happy PSat! Dana

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Holidays, dear Elizabeth.

You remind me so much of myself because you treasure things from your childhood, and from your family and friends. These are beautiful.
