Tuesday is recycling and trash day in Walpole, one of the towns I drive through.
There's always construction somewhere on my drive, and the guys need a home base, if you know what I mean!
The Longwood medical area has most of the Boston hospitals and teaching schools.
Blue signs mark everything very well, because so many people come here from out of state or other countries.
The Boston MFA is just down the street if you can fight the traffic. It's easier to take the "T".
This Vespa is always parked on the corner by Brigham and Women's Hospital, no matter what time of day I am there. It has only been missing twice since I've started keeping track!
When I arrive, I am welcomed no matter what language I speak!I hope you enjoyed seeing a little bit of what I see all the time. Be sure to visit Sally and the other Blue Monday participants. Maybe you'll join us with your own blue post next week!

Elizabeth, Happy Blue Monday to you! Thank you for taking us along on your drive, and I was LOL when I saw that porta-potty and your comments! I enjoyed seeing all of your blue, and the scooter has a twin in Florida; you'll see sometime soon. Shhhhhhh... don't tell. ;-) I'm impressed that the hospital has that sign of greeting in all of those languages. Wow!
Here's wishing you all the joys of the season including good health, prosperity, and the joy of the Lord rolled into one package! I loved the drive, but hopefully someday soon you will just be making it as a volunteer at the hospital! :-) Sending love to you this fine morning...
XO,
Sheila
Good morning, sweet Elizabeth..

Elizabeth, thanks for coming by today.
I just went to the give-a-way and commented. Thanks for the info.
I do like your tour and your blue this AM. I think the language greetings are terrific. Very welcoming.
Hugs...Jeanne
My husband, Johnny, will appreciate the name you gave to the "necessary place" as he hates the more common one. lol
You're developing blue eyes, Elizabeth! Blue is all over the place. Happy Blue Day!
I'm always the driver so I appreciate the pictures...I pretended I was looking out the window. :)
Morning, Elizabeth! I enjoyed the blue drive with you today! Hope you're feeling well and have a beautiful day, sweetness,
Shelia :)
It's funny how just noticing a certain color can change what you see!

LOL! Happy blue Monday! I had to LOL when I saw "home base". tee hee hee.
That little blue scooter would be my fave, but I couldn't imagine whipping around on that thing in the cold frigid winter air...I hear it gets might cold back there. brrr just thinking about it.
Hi Elizabeth, I enjoyed all of your blue signs and your sense of humor too.
Have a great week.
That is a lot of blue along that drive! How fun that you share that with us. I felt like I was with you all the way. Fun. Have a great Blue Monday.
Good Morning Elizabeth - I have been through Boston just once and it certainly wasn't nearly as enjoyable as the route of your tour. I enjoyed the tour and your humor. Also, thanks for the give away info. Happy Blue Monday.
Sweetie
Ah, Longwood. I feel like I should say I grew up there. I suppose 6 years at a college prep school counts as growing up...
You could totally take the T, OR walk to the MFA, and today would be lovely for that. Yesterday, not so much. We had SNOW!
Love your blue post!
Loved all of your blue pictures... Haven't been to Boston in a few years... How fun to see the pics... Have a good evening Elizabeth

Thank you and many blessings!
Very cute and interesting post elizabeth.
Happy Blue Monday, Elizabeth! Thanks for taking us on your blue journey. Isn't it funny how a color pops out at you when you are looking for it? Just like when someone buys a new car - you start seeing them everywhere! ~ Robyn
The Mod kids at my high school had Vespas. Now, I wish I had that blue one!
Wow - what a lot of blue when you start looking for it. I hadn't thought to look at things as I was driving. Great idea.
Smiles.
Great Blue Monday post...I enjoyed the sights in the Boston area.
By the way, Elizabeth, I have losts of nativities, but no separate building to house them. I just devote one room to displaying them. But, maybe someday, I'll have a more adequate space.
Happy Holidays,
Carrie
