For the first Blue Monday, I had kind of a lame-o post, showing blue things I had already used for other topics. So of course, this week I wanted to have something really good! It should be very easy for me to have blue photos, my whole house has blue elements in it. But, because of my shaky hands, I usually take blurry pictures.
Thus my nephew, Frick, takes most of the pictures for me. Well, he's back to school and I haven't had a chance for him to take my blue pictures.I was looking around my house at all the blue elements, and one of the best things I have is a wind chime made of blue agate. My sister and her family brought it back for me from their trip to Arizona last year. I keep it hung from the curtain rod in the living room, and I love the way the light reflects off of it. This made me decide to search flickr for blue agate! There was jewelry, sculptures, housewares, whole stones, everything under the sun! I decided to go with the slices and choose pictures that only showed the agate, no big background or other props.

Oh, Elizabeth, this was worth waiting for! What beautiful blues you've shared today. Thank you for pushing through and getting the job done!
I do like the shade of your wind chimes the best.
Beautiful wind chime!! Thanks for commenting on my blog, and Happy Blue Monday!!
Your blue agate pictures are just beautiful. Oh my. Isn't it something to imagine what beautiful things this world can produce. Loved it. Your wind chime is very unusual too...what a conversation piece. Very nice.
Thank you for sharing your Blue Monday and thank you for stopping by my blog too.
Hope you had a lovely day.

What beautiful agates. Isn't nature amazing?
Elizabeth, gorgeous blue post. Franklin,NC where I live, is called the Gem Capital of the world. We have a huge collection of geodes and gems sliced for show downtown in a small museum. We take all of our company there for an outing and they are always fascinated. A great post.
Hugs...Jeanne
Such breathtakingly natural beauty.
Love the colors of blue you chose. Very stimulating to look at. The spider kinda freaked me, but I'll deal with it. You come up with some fascinating posts. xxoo
I have shaky hands too! You need one of these:
