Birthday Giveaways

Sunday, October 5 will be my 2 year "birthday" of a successful bone marrow transplant from an anonymous, unrelated donor. To raise awareness about the ease of becoming a donor, I have planned several giveaway prizes that can be won during that week. Crafters and vendors throughout blogland have generously donated wonderful items that I have grouped into 4 super prize packs! More items are still coming in, too!
As a little teaser, here are pictures of the four prizes that you can only win next week by answering some easy questions in the comments of different posts. Each comment will earn you one entry, so be sure to visit daily!
The Longaberger Desk Basket
handmade keychain, magnets, & bookmark - Jennifer @ Me & My Sister
handmade notecards - Mommy Holly
Longaberger basket, address book, cool pens, desk whimsy - my contribution
The Snowman Tote Bag

Entire prize donated by Ronda @ Ronda's Rants!

To win one of these great prizes, come back and visit beginning next Sunday, October 5. There will be special posts and a few simple questions you will need to answer in the comments to be entered in the drawing. You can also earn 2 extra entries for posting this button on your sidebar, including a link to this post, and another 3 for blogging about this giveaway anytime before October 9.

You can copy the code below to link the button to this post.

I just wanted to say congrats on your 2nd birthday! My husband is celebrating his 14th this week. His bone marrow transplant was actually from his own bone marrow they harvested when he was in remission.

Wow! This looks like a great event! I'll be back to get in on all the fun.

I came here by way of Justine's blog to answer a question you had there about Shelia. There is a link on my Pink Saturday post to Jan and Tom's Place where she has more information on where Shelia's house is located. She apparently has Shelia's phone number, and the last I knew, had not been succesful in reaching her by phone. We are all praying for her and hoping for the best, but are fearing that she may have had significant damage to her home.

Hope this answers some questions for you, or points you in the right direction!

Wow. Just a big old wow.

Your birthday reminds me...

Last April my sister celebrated 1 year Cancer free, coinciding with my son's first birthday, and I sent her a birthday card from him to celebrate being 1 together.

I thought I was just being a dork, but apparently I'm not alone in the sentiment.

I wish you the happiest of birthdays!

congratulations on 2 years, and huge thanks to your donor! I have looked into bone marrow donation, but unfortunately have other health issues that rule me out. I can't even donate blood! But I am so grateful for those who can do so in my stead. It's a huge gift!
