Christmas in July Winner

I could hold out no longer, as soon as QVC began discussing their Today's Special Value for Friday, I stuck my hand in the basket and drew the name of the Christmas in July winner!
It has been neat discovering so many people that are Peanuts, Charlie Brown, Charles Schultz collectors! I'll have to give away some of the other items in a future giveaway, because they're really not my thing and have been sitting in boxes since they were given to me. When I have something that I know someone else would appreciate, but I have it packed away, I always think of The Velveteen Rabbit, sitting forgotten in a box in the attic. I have many other sets of Hallmark Holiday Collectibles, and I only have so many places to display items. If my dad had his way, my entire home would be floor to ceiling shelves of tchotchkies!
We should definitely thank Inis, from A Lovely Thing for sponsoring this Christmas in July Giveaway. There were several blogs giving away different items, so go on over and see what people received! It should put you in the holiday spirit!
Did you want to see what the winner is receiving one more time? Here it is in all its glory! A miniature lunchbox, still in its shrink wrap, with a display set of 4 ornaments that can be hung or used on the display stand. Very cute!
Oh, and the winner is.... Wanda, from The Rat's Pajamas!! Wanda is a very talented crafter, visit her blog soon!
Please remember that one of the purposes of blog giveaways is to meet new people and gather new readers. I hope you'll come back and visit to see what I have to say on reading, blogging, crafting, living green, and having cancer. Not in any particular order!

OK OK, just because I gave away YOUR gifts from my blog didn't mean you had to take mine away from me. OH MAN! Now I'm stomping my feet like a little girl and as soon as I finish posting this message to you I'm going to go in the hall and toss myself to the ground and throw a real full blow fit! LOL

But really, thanks for joining the fun.

Congrats to Wanda too!

Hugs,
Joanne

Hey Elizabeth

I didn't realize you were in MA too...what part? And I was scrolling through you vintage post and was laughing so hard...I had one of those pink hairdryers when I was little. I wish I could find one like it now!!! They worked great lol

Have a great day!

I'm not so big on Snoopy but I would love to see what other Hallmark collectibles you have. My mom still gives my sister and I an ornament every Christmas. The past few years, I've been picking Barbie ones.

Thanks, Elizabeth, for participating in the giveaway AND go above and beyond to get the word out. You're a sweetie!

My neighbor came over to my house and yelled at me over my dog!

I have a dog that I can't keep in my yard. I have tried everything and she always finds a way out. Anyway, this lady comes to my home, knocks on my door and when i open the door she points her finger at me and yells obscenities at me. Apparently my dog was in HER neighbors garbage and then pooped on HER NEIGHBORS LAWN! Why didn't she come and talk to me like a civil human being? Why was she a vicious monster attacking me at my door? I calmly went over to HER NEIGHBORS house where the garbage was and picked up every piece, and the dog poop. I agree that I have that responsibility to clean up after my dog. The one thing I don't agree upon is someone coming to my house and screaming in my face about something I didn't know about. Is anyone out there been blessed with a psyco-neighbor?
I don't think anyone remembers the golden rule...Do unto others as you would want done unto you!
I sent them a lovely card from this site I found...www.URAJerk.com
