My Bucket List

Have you seen or heard about the movie The Bucket List, starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman? In the film, 2 men meet. They have each been informed they have terminal cancer. They make a "Kick the Bucket List" of all the things they want to do before they die, and then they go out and try to do them all! Lisa the Apron Queen has asked people to post their own Bucket Lists during the month of July. You can see all of the particpants' lists on her site, Confessions of the Apron >Queen, and find out how to participate if you'd like. Every Friday during July Lisa will be having a random drawing for participants to win a vintage apron from her shop, Rick Rack Attack!

Their Bucket List in the Film
Witness something truly magestic.
Help a complete stranger for a common good.
Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world
Laugh until I cry.
Drive a Shelby Mustang.
Get a tattoo.
Go skydiving.
See the pyramids.
Hunt the big cat.
See Rome.
Get back in touch with...
As a 3-time cancer survivor, I have thought about my own Bucket List once in a while. It's a totally selfish list, and it's actually pretty short! I'd like to be able to do the travel activities with my family, of course!
So, here's My List!
~Fly in a hot air balloon, preferrably in New Mexico during the Fiesta.
~Travel everywhere possible, specifically Italy, India, the Amazon, and the Adriatic Coast.
~Assist in the birth of a baby. I love medical things, and I've never had a baby, so I thought this would combine 2 in 1, sort of!

Elizabeth!! Here you are thought I had lost you! Lol funny you say that because I would MUCH prefer looking like Helen Hunt, and hubby has always said that's who I look like! May I add you to my list of blogs I like to visit? Hope you are doing well and have a happy 4th! French;)

what a great list, I love your hot air balloon ride idea, that looks amazing. And to help a baby be delivered...just like watching a miracle happen.

Thank for dropping by my blog and flickr off to have a read of your blog now.

Now, having faced cancer I can say I never made a list of things I wanted to do -- but I learned to live each day to the fullest.

The best lesson I learned? If you want to do something..just do it. Don't put it on a list.

So my friend, if you want that hot air balloon ride, save your $$ and go and have it -- or travel to those places you want to see. However you can -- make it happen. Don't just dream..."do"!! ♥

Well I'd say yours is a very doable bucket list and you've got plenty of time to do it all too! I have a friend who lives in NM, and gets to see the fiesta every year. Lucky duck!

Hey Congrats on 5 years! I'm looking forward to that date myself. :)

You have a great list! I would love to help a baby be born. I have had babies but I think it would be magnificent to deliver one.

What an awesome list! I'd love to see the fiesta too. A friend grew up in NM and we had planned to head down there some day, but life happened instead. ;-)

Interesting choice to assist in a birth - have you ever considered becoming a doula?

Anyway - I originally came by to thank you for commenting on my blog. :-) I got a sewing machine on Thursday; now to remember how to USE it. Wish me luck!

Wow, it would be ambitious to assist with a birth, but very neat a the same time!

Great article as for me. It would be great to read something more about that matter. The only thing it would also be great to see on this blog is a few pictures of any gadgets.
