Fifth Folder Photo
Tagged again! This time by Raggedy Girl from Little House in the Desert. It's the fifth folder, fifth photo meme! My fifth folder is called comics and has no other folders in it. I have different things in here that I've found online. Calvin & Hobbes have always been one of my favorites, and I've missed them in the paper since they retired. I have all their books in my classroom and the students love to pore over them when they finish their work early. I recently read an article in Paste magazine by Jason Killingsworth entitled 5 Reasons I Still Adore Calvin & Hobbes that you might enjoy. It reminded me of the endless appeal of this comic strip.

There were a couple of times during my daughters high school day.. when things didn't go so well, I'd go to Barnes and Noble and get her a Calvin and Hobbes paperback.. I mean, that would make anyone happier.. right? That's how I felt at any rate. :)
